The chapter’s first post-covid meeting will take place after the completion of the regional program – Door, Frame and Architectural Hardware Applications (COR117) – April 24-27, 2023 at the Hampton Inn Hotel. Entrance will be through the aluminum entrance at the left side of the building. You will need to be buzzed and I will be on site to greet you! Parking is limited so you may need to park on the street or in the empty lot directly across from The Stevens Group. 

The meeting will begin at 2:30pm with a round table discussion covering the following items: 

Following this discussion, our guest speaker, Kristen Habermehl, Rick Hansen Foundation Consultant and Educator, will provide valuable information and education regarding the upcoming requirements for accessibility pertaining to our industry.  Kristen was the first person in Atlantic Canada to receive Rick Hansen certification and she has since started teaching the RHFAC course at NSCC and she has also founded Atlantic Accessibility. I am very excited to host the chapter’s first meeting of 2023. It has been a difficult few years and this is a great opportunity for members to come together to discuss the chapter and changes facing our industry.
